We got our first look at Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Watch 3 in the flesh last week, thanks to South Korea's NRRA certification body. The first press render of the smartwatch has now surfaced, courtesy of the inimitable Evan Blass.
The press render, which shows the 45mm version of the Galaxy Watch 3, seems to confirm that the upcoming watch will indeed look a lot like the original Galaxy Watch. Like the Galaxy Watch, Samsung's next smartwatch will come with what appears to be a physical rotating bezel and two buttons on the side. The casing also confirms the Galaxy Watch 3 will have built-in GPS, MIL-STD-810G compliance, 5ATM water resistance, and Corning Gorilla Glass DX protection.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is rumored to feature a 1.4-inch Super AMOLED display, 1GB of RAM, 8GB storage, and a 340mAh battery. The 41mm version of the watch, however, will have a smaller 247mAh battery and a 1.2-inch display. Some of the other rumored features of the Galaxy Watch 3 include a heart-rate monitor, ECG, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and wireless charging support.
The Galaxy Watch 3 is expected to be launched alongside the bean-shaped Galaxy Buds Live true wireless earbuds sometime next month.
